RED Systems provides vibration analysis and measurement services for pumps and rotating equipment across Ontario. Vibration is a diagnostic signal — elevated vibration levels indicate developing problems including misalignment, imbalance, bearing defects, cavitation, resonance, or structural looseness. Vibration analysis identifies the source so the correct corrective action can be taken before a failure occurs.
On-site measurement of vibration amplitude, frequency, and direction at bearing housings, pump casing, and motor using calibrated instruments.
Analysis of vibration frequency spectrum to identify characteristic frequencies — 1X, 2X, BPFO, BPFI, and other fault frequencies — that indicate specific failure modes.
Diagnosis of the vibration source: misalignment, imbalance, bearing defect, looseness, cavitation, resonance, or flow-related issues.
Recording of vibration signature on new or post-repair equipment to establish a baseline for ongoing monitoring and trending.
Written findings with recommended corrective action — alignment, balancing, bearing replacement, flow adjustment, or structural modification.
Return visit to verify that corrective action has reduced vibration to acceptable levels.
